Yeti was a member of the Inhumans from Attilan with animalistic appearance and powers similar to the Yeti species after being exposed to Terrigen Mist. He joined the superhero team First Line and despite his uncontrollable rages, he proved to be a valuable asset. He lived like a hermit in an abandoned temple until he was seduced by a Skrull woman named Korya and helped in their planned invasion of Earth. During the battle, Korya was killed, and Yeti guarded her corpse.[1]

History

Early Life[]

Yeti was born an Inhuman, who had apparently undergone exposure to the Terrigen Mist, giving him an animalistic appearance and powers similar to the hominid species known as the Yeti that lived in the Himalayas.[2]

First Line[]

At some undisclosed point, Yeti joined the superhero team the First Line. During his time with them, he clashed with the Deviants in battle. Yeti tendency to fly into uncontrollable rages proved to be something of a drawback, however, and he often had to be calmed down by his teammate Rapunzel's prehensile hair. However, after an undisclosed tragedy involving Rapunzel, Yeti left the team and tried to return to the Inhumans' home, Attilan. Yeti instead made a home in an abandoned temple in the Himalayas, where he lived like a hermit until he was approached by a Skrull woman called Korya, who seduced him to help her in the Skrulls' planned invasion of Earth. Yeti soon fell in love with her. Yeti was on board the Skrull flagship during the attempted invasion. During the battle, Korya was killed and Yeti stood guard over her body, savagely striking the time traveller Cassandra Locke when she approached them. Taking Korya's corpse, he boarded an escape pod and returned to Earth, escaping the destruction of the Skrull armada. Back on Earth, Yeti kept Korya's corpse in his temple, jealously guarding it.[3]

Modern Age[]

Havok and Polaris, members of the X-Men, had embarked on a journey to the Himalayas where they unexpectedly encountered the Yeti. He attacked them with flying rocks, but to their surprise, they discovered he was the Yeti from the First Line, who was believed to be dead. Despite their best efforts to subdue him, the X-Men found themselves struggling to contain Yeti's out-of-control rage. As they fought, Alex and Lorna suddenly awakened in a nearby ruin, where they stumbled upon the lifeless body of Korya. Yeti had been guarding her and was revealed to have been romantically involved with her. Pixie of the First Line arrived on the scene and divulged that most of the team had died fighting a secret Skrull invasion. The battle was abruptly interrupted when Yeti suddenly temporally to stone, and the Inhumans arrived at the scene.[1]

Later when the Human Torch of the Fantastic Four came to the Himalayas looking for his love Crystal. During a storm he took refuge in a cave only to be confronted by Yeti believing it to be a creature of myth. Realising he was an Inhuman who mistook him for an fellow inhuman. Johnny showed his flame powers, but the Yeti did not believe him and escaped to warn the other Inhumans about the unexpected visitor.[4]
