History

Shadow Slasher had long heard of the skill and power of Shang-Chi, son of Fu Manchu, and challenged him repeatedly in order to prove he was the superior fighter. Despite his efforts, Shadow Slasher was beaten by Shang-Chi each time.

Years later, Shadow Slasher attempted to flee the country to avoid the Superhuman Registration Act. He arranged for papers from Vienna, but he and his associates were caught by the Heroes for Hire.
