History

The X-Men were mind-controlled by Kang to attack the Avengers at the Avengers Tower. After the X-Men broke the spell, the two teams followed Kang back in time to World War II. Together the two teams worked with the Howling Commandos and the Captain America of that time to foil Kang's plot.

Later, when the Hulk was wreaking havok at the Yuma Proving Grounds in Arizona, the X-Men were the first heroes on the scene to try and stop the rampaging monster.
