Synopsis for "Part 2 of 5"
Colcord has the X-Men as hostages with a gun pointed at Kitty Pryde, intent on blackmailing Wolverine for his surrender. Despite all odds, Wolverine fails to rescue the X-Men as COlcord pulls the trigger on Kitty Pryde and proceeds in killing the rest of the X-Men. The Sentinels override their programming and starts killing all mutants starting with Mesmero and Wildchild. Sauron was about to be killed when the robots scanned and recognized him as non-mutant.
