History

Lord Visis of K'ai[]

Lord Visis was part of the royal family and was the cousin of Jarella[2] in the city of K'ai, on a world in the Microverse.

In his youth, he was nearly slain by a Serpent-Beast of the Great Krell Jungle.[5]

As an adult, Visis sought to succeed Jarella as the ruler of K'ai, intending to kill worlds when he would ascend.

With the arrival of the Hulk in K'ai, Visis saw his hopes of becoming emperor fading. He consequently contracted the assassins of the Pitll Pawob division to kill both the Hulk and Jarella. The Hulk made short work of the assassins and then forced one of them to reveal who had sent them. Shortly thereafter, in the Great Hall of Assembly, the Hulk revealed Visis' traitorous actions. Visis was arrested and Hulk sentenced him to eternal exile in the Wortha-haunted Outlands. The Hulk was snatched by Psyklop mere instants later.[2]

War against Jarella[]

This event was seen as a feat of "The Gods", read by many as a sign against Jarella who had chosen him. From his territory, Visis learned magic, and waged war on K'ai, menacing the stability of the realm.[3]

After being defeated once again, he was exiled as well, renounced the arcane sciences and trained in the ways of the warrior, becoming Visis the Vagabond, "reborn from beneath the wreckage of [his] rightful kingdom".

Visis the Vagabond against the Son of Hulk[]

When Hiro-Kala took control of K'ai, Visis the Vagabond returned from exile and faced him, rallying rebels, intending to provide them the leadership they lacked. Visis was swiftly defeated, and he and his forces were sent to the Isle of Assassins and slay all people there.[1]
