History
Veronica Kelly was a young woman who received paranormal abilities during the Fireworks, apparently the Justice glyph. She began a series of territorial battles with fellow paranormal Lester Robbins whenever he teleported back into the United States. These battles eventually evolved into a romantic relationship. When Kelly became pregnant by Robbins, NSA spotters from the government became fearful of a race of superhumans overtaking humanity. They arranged for Robbins to cheat on Kelly, prompting her to kill him when she discovered his infidelity. Kelly was later poisoned, and her child was killed in its crib.
