The premise of the comic finds T'Challa (Earth-616) pitted against The People (Earth-616), a terrorist group that is stirring up trouble in Wakanda. In order to keep the peace the Black Panther must decide if its time to turn away from the old traditions of his people and embrace change. But what if change leads to a society where the Black Panther is no longer relevant? What will happen to T'Challa and how will this effect Wakanda?
The editor of the series Wil Moss says that we can expect tons of political intrigues but also the trademark Marvel humor that makes these comics so fun and addicting to read. Also it was hinted at that some fan favorite villains and heroes will be making some cameo appearances.
