New Features

So we want to highlight some new features we have for comic articles here at the database. (Ok, not new, but highly under-used). They're called issue details, and they are optional information fields that can be added to the comic infobox template, usually under the release date information.

First off, we have the page count. Kinda self-explainitory, really. To add it to the info box, you add:

| Pages = ##

Just add the correct page number, and your good. The page count should include all pages, including ads in the older books, both front and back. However, it should not include the front or back covers, nor the insides of said covers.

Secondly, we have the cover price section. Again, a little self-explainitory. To add this field, you add…

Let's Make Another Spider-Man 2 Blog!

I normally cringe when these type of blogs pop up (Hey, while we're at it, let's play who would win, just like last week and the week before that! >.>) but I'm saddended by the scope of predictions for the new Spider-Man series, so it's time to show you little kiddies how to really dream up things that will never happen.

I know everyone wants Marvel to take over and reboot the character in MCU continuity (just like every Marvel character still out there), but that isn't happening as long as Sony have a say in it. With that being said: Stop thinking in a confined, trilogy-based scope. Andrew Garfield is not only a better actor as Peter Parker, but he can look the part for years to come. So do the Harry Potter thing. Make this a 6-8 movie ser…

So much like the Deadpool video game, another piece of Marvel gold from Comic-Con seems to have been overshadowed by MCU film announcements. The debut of Dirty Laundry occued at the con, and was highly praised by viewers.

The short is a fan film thought up by, and starring, Thomas Jane, star of the 2004 Punisher movie, and features parts of the score from The Dark Knight.

Being described as a fan film, I'm not sure this ties in to the 2004 movie in anyway, or if it's related to the M…

Show Mr. Wilson Some Love, Too

It seems that so many people got swept up in the announcements about the Marvel Cinematic Universe line-up that everyone has missed one of the best things about Comic-Con 2012 so far. Marvel gave us the first trailer for Deadpool, a video game based on the Merc with a Mouth. (Video contains some mature content)

Easily one of the best video game trailers of all time, and it's the perfect representation of Deadpool (to me anyway). It's gonna be crude, super violent and funny, and looks like the perfect game.

So show Mr. Wilson some love and get excited about his game too

2014 Movie Rumors

Ladies and gents, can we please remember that this is an encyclopedia, and not a rumor mill? I've seen more and more that people are adding info in to the Marvel Cinematic Universe pages about a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. This is still a rumor, not a confirmed film. Unless that changes, and by changes I mean "gets confirmed by Marvel or Disney", please don't add info about it. Thanks. Sincerly, everyone.
