Soooo, just read Uncanny Inhumans #11 and.....wow, it was [fricked] up. In response to Iron Man's abduction of Ulysses, Medusa orders a counterattack on him. Not a physical assault, but one on his way of life. The inhumans, using their powers, hack his bank account, his email, and destroy his property. On the second to last page Medusa states that, due to the increased number of inhumans and their current position on the world stage, they can't lock Tony up and destroy his tower, as that would make them look like monsters.

That is the single most contradictory thing I've ever heard.

The scale on which Medusa destroys Tony's life is essentially every modern person's worst nightmare. That someone will hack your bank account and steal your money, leak all your personal emails, and that your car will blow up for no reason.

The last one probably isn't EVERY person's nightmare. But come on, everything else they do is a crime, even if they are a sovereign nation, I'm pretty sure this falls out of the whole "diplomatic immunity" thing. I'm not saying what Tony did was justified, it was a stupid thing he did, but it DID NOT warrant this kind of response. Hell, locking Tony up would have been more humane than this.

The most messed up part of this is...Tony doesn't fight back. He just shrugs and says he probably deserves it. What. The. [Frick]. This is Iron Man! He shouldn't be taking this lying down! And where are the other Avengers? They've gotta be noticing this right? Where are they?

The weird part is that how vindictive the inhumans are being. I mean, they were never shown to be this way in the past, at least to my recollection. And the fact they think they have the right to do this is appalling.

This just shows that Marvel's pushing of the inhumans is going too far. They're acting like they've already released the movie and are promoting it. They need to ease up or else they're going to mess everything up. Hell, this makes me NOT want to see the movie out of protest.

Also Marvel, if you read this and put it in your comic book surrounded by a flowery speech on how the inhumans are perfect and justified, I'll know, and I'll call you on it.
