Synopsis for "Underworld Part 5"
Injected with a healing factor serum to recover from fatal gunshots from the Punisher, Jackie Dio finds himself alone in a prison hospital with all of the Owl's super powered enforcers coming to kill him. He finds that the Mechanic had left him an indestructible jacket, new sunglasses and guns to use. Jackie uses these items to cause some gas tanks to explode, which either kills or incapacitates his attackers.
While Mr. Pain is punishing Grizzly and Boomerang in their failure to kill Jackie, Jackie himself has been accepted into the Owl's crime syndicate with open arms. When Mr. Pain returns and sees this, the two get into a battle to the finish, where Jackie recalls telling his father on his death bed that he would look after his brother: Vince. With this final battle, Jackie gains the upper hand, and Vince begs for his life telling Jackie that he'll leave town just like last time. Jackie doesn't give him this option and kills him. Afterwards, he's given a bill from the Consultant from a courier.
Going to the Consultants office, Jackie is shocked to realize that the Consultant has been manipulating him the whole time, and that he was the Hippo, the injured man in the hospital, the Doctor, and the Mechanic and that he had been manipulating Jackie into unknowingly accepting the Consultant's work. Jackie, now chiristiend Underworld begrudgingly accepts what has happened and leaves, deciding if you can't beat 'em, join them.
