A mob breaks into the castle of a scientist and kills him as they have heard he is creating a Vampire monster. He is actually a people's hero as the monster he created lives only off of the blood of other vampires.

Synopsis for "The Furnace!"

A wooden-legged captain works his furnace stokers until they drop and there is only the most powerful one left. When the last of the coal is gone, they use wood until that is gone and they are still just short of port. The stoker tosses the captain into the furnace so that his wooden leg provides the last bit of wood they need.

When a couple arrive at the end of the tunnel of love, they find that they have aged rapidly and the fairground deserted. They attempt to return the way they came, and they succeed in getting out the front entrance where the fair is still going on, but they remain of advanced age.
