Synopsis for "Murder Will Out"Edit

A man encounters an ocean leech with the power to assume the form of his young wife. He locks what he thinks is his wife in the closet then goes out to the beach with his rifle. He sees what he takes to be the creature wearing his wife's form and fires the rifle. He lets his "wife" out of the closet and goes down to the beach. When he examines the corpse he realizes that he has killed his wife just as the monster springs upon him.

A phony medium gets a visit from the spirit of Luther Kane who asks him to call up the spirit of Luther Kane and he will pay five hundred dollars. When the medium agrees, the spirit attacks him as a cheat revealing his true identity.

Synopsis for "The Man Who Came Back to Life"Edit

A circus strongman is murdered by a scientist who wishes to get back at the man's sister for spurning his advances. The strongman's cue to start his act was three bells after which he would go onstage and lift a steel barbell before breaking it in half. After the scientist gloats to the dead man's sister that he has succeeded in raising the dead, three church bells toll the hour and the dead man hefts the scientist and tears him in half.
