Ultron was among the villains released by the Collector to be accessed by the Summoner and Kang the Conqueror after Kang's initial defeat at the hands of the Summoner. While most of the villains were overwhelmed and taken over by Kang's will for the Contest, Ultron quietly slipped away into the Battlerealm.
