History

The Tower of London is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in London, England. It was founded in 1066 AD by William the Conqueror. It is most famously known as the home of the Crown Jewels.

In the 1500s, at the Tower of London, Queen Elizabeth I confronted her cousin, Mary Queen of Scots. Elizabeth was about to be executed and Mary made Queen instead. Immortus appeared behind Mary. Content that he has thus altered the timeline to his liking, Immortus teleported away.[1]

Attila the Hun was ordered by Immortus to take Rick Jones to the Tower of London, in the year 1760, until he was rescued by Captain America.[2]

During World War II; Human Torch realizes something was odd about the Blue Bullet's attack and goes to the Tower of London where he was been kept to question him.[3]

Modern Era

Ben Grimm visited the Tower of London when while on vacation in London.[4]

In the Tower of London, Inspector Sweeney and Captain America discovered that a woman's skeleton had been swapped for Baron Blood's.[5]

The Troll Associates kidnapped Thomas Jones and took him to the White Tower in order him to transform it into gold.[6]

Weird Happenings Organization (W.H.O.) has their offices located in the Tower of London. Alysande Stuart is alone in an office. Suddenly, a brimstone cloud announces the appearance of Nightcrawler. It is Kurt Wagner's evil counterpart from the Earth-597 dimension. He grabs Stuart and threatens to abuse her. But Alysandre changes her shape and becomes Meggan who pushes Nightcrawler away. Before he crashes into a wall, he teleports and is caught when he materializes on the other side of the wall. Captain Britain, Excalibur's Nightcrawler, some W.H.O. officers, Lightning Force and Reichsminister Moira MacTaggert await him. Kurt Wagner is shocked about how predictable his counterpart was and is afraid of his own darker sides. [7]

Many years later, Wolverine beat Fantomex in the stealing the Crown Jewels in the Tower of London. He won a bottle of cognac worth over "$2 million" which he chose by googling it. He then made Fantomex put the jewels back as they had a mission.[9]

Mystique and Sabretooth stole the crown jewels from the Tower of London, killing many of the guards in the process.[10]


Alternative Realities

Sir Nicholas Fury and his assistant Peter Parquagh are attacked by an assassin whom Fury disables and locks in the Tower of London. King James was distrustful of "witchbreed". Fury was forced to take the witchbreed to the Tower.[11]

The Tower of London remained the home of the Witch Hunter's.[12]
