Synopsis
To save Johnny from the Purifiers, Marcos contacts Lorna through Fade, hoping she will come through on a promise they all made years ago to be there for each other when they were in trouble. Lorna reluctantly agrees to help the Underground rescue Johnny. Using the Inner Circle's resources, Lorna finds the Purifiers have taken Johnny to a compound in Virginia that is far too heavily-defended for the Underground to take on alone. Lorna and Andy both go to the Westlake Apartments to attack the compound with the rest of the Underground, just like the days before they left to join the Inner Circle. Caitlin and Reed are both excited to see their son again, although Lauren still does not trust him.
Meanwhile, Jace Turner interrogates Johnny at the Purifiers' compound in Virginia. The other Purifiers want to break out the power tools, but Turner thinks he can get Johnny to talk without that. Johnny tries to tell Turner that the Underground was not responsible for the recent attacks, and that he should instead be looking into the Inner Circle. Turner is reluctant to believe him because he does not know Lorna and Andy, who he knows participated in the attacks, left the Undergound. Just as Turner starts to believe Johnny, however, the Underground starts to attack the facility with Lorna and Andy at their side. Turner sees Lorna and Marcos working together, and immediately assumes Johnny was trying to make him look like a fool. An enraged Turner shoots Johnny with a shotgun before he flees. Due to his mutant powers, Johnny is able to withstand multiple full blasts from Turner's shotgun. Clarice, Lorna and Andy rescue Johnny from the compound, easily overpowering the Purifiers who stand in their way. As they leave the compound, Andy tortures a Purifier who almost shot Lauren, and would have killed him had Lauren not stopped him. Later, Reed and Caitlin realize stopping the Inner Circle is the only way to get their son back.Cast
