  • Following the Walt Disney Company's acquisition of 21st Century Fox and its assets, the film was re-categorized as a "Marvel Legacy" movie on the streaming platform Disney+, to separate it from the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.[4]

Trivia

  • Prior to re-shoots, Tim Blake Nelson's character Harvey Allen, was referred to as Harvey Elder.[5]
  • This film marks the last one in the Fantastic Four film property made by 20th Century Fox, with the property returning to Disney following their acquisition of Fox in March 2019.
