- Yes, they are in fact two separate branches of our Armed Forces. We have the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. --Spencerz (talk) 03:12, May 7, 2013 (UTC)
Okay, I wasn't sure, as some commentaries on internet weren't really agree, especially a man who presented himself as a Navy member, who said that the Marines were dependent of the Navy (concerning the hierarchy), but weren't happy to admit it.
