Where from is his first Name? I can't find anything and in the Handbooks it says, that his first name is unrevealed. Beast of Averoigne 12:17, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- I feel a little responsible in letting this misinformation go forward. The page was made by another editor and at the time, I was reading the Weapon X TPB. Thought it was revealed in some other comic so I added "the Professor's" info to this. This brings us to now. This name is wrong, very wrong. Not sure where the name came from, but he was always just known as "The Professor".
- Luckily, and thank you for the question, I did a little more research on this and conveniently for me, it was just RECENTLY revealed. His true name is Truett Hudson and had 2 brothers James Hudson (Gladiator from Alpha Flight) and another brother named Victor. All that info can be found in Wolverine: Origins #33 and is revealed by Nick Fury while talking to Wolverine.
- Here's the catch, I will change the name and process the move, but the image is not looking right. I think that that came from a TPB that I had at one point, but I cannot seem to find that image or artwork. It looks to me like the man in the picture has a goatee. Truett Hudson never had a goatee and Dr. Cornelius, another Weapon X worker did. I think the picture is of Dr. Cornelius. Thoughts? --M1shawhan 23:13, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Correction, it may not have been a goatee. I wish I could find the comic it came from though. :( --M1shawhan 23:35, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
There is no Beard at all in this Picture. It's just Shadows. I believe the Name Thorton was mentioned in one of the Handbooks. I'll check. Beast of Averoigne 10:33, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
Yes, the Name Thorton is mentioned in the Wolverine 2004 Handbook in the Weapon X Entry. I put the Page in his Gallery. Thorton then is probably an alias. Though I don't know in which Book it was revealed. I am sure it wasn't in Windsor-Smith's "Weapon X", though. By the Way: Since this isn't actually a Comic Book Panel but rather a whole Page, I am not really sure about that Licensing Thing. :-/ Beast of Averoigne 10:44, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, it was during the Weapon X storyline from Marvel Comics Presents that he was referred to as Professor Thorton (or was it Wolverine Vol 2 #50? One of the two. I know he was primarily just called "Professor" in the Weapon X storyline). Though him being related to James Hudson in that way seems...really odd/wrong. Especially considering how old he looks.
