TRN414[]

TV Tropes is dead sure that "The Gifted" does NOT take place in the X-Men Film Universe, citing a statement made at San Diego Comic Con as evidence.

I got into trouble in the Marvel Movies Wiki for this (got a year-long ban), and I don't want to get into trouble here, so I'm asking...

...is TV Tropes right?

If it is, can I edit the "Gifted" pages to reflect that?

I originally removed the "Earth-TRN414" from this page, after I read an article about the showrunner & creator, Matt Nix, stated it wasn't in the shared universe as the movies. But since then he and the other people behind the show has been on and off regarding that, to where recently Nix stated that it takes place in a different "stream" as a result of 'Days of Future Past'. But I can't attest to what the shows or recent films have established, since I haven't seen much of either (apart from 'Deadpool').

If they're saying it's part of a different timeline then it shouldn't be listed under Earth-TRN414. Subsequent commentary by showrunners only further establishes that it's not part of the same timeline created when the bad future was averted. -- Ambaryerno (talk) 21:45, December 8, 2017 (UTC)
If no one else is objecting then I'll go ahead and create a new TRN for this show and add the necessary move tags on character pages.

For context, the Wikipedia page for this show says that "it is connected to the X-Men film series, set in an alternate timeline where the X-Men have disappeared," which I think warrants its own separate TRN reality.
