Mephisto as Satan

Is Ghost Rider Vol. 2 76 the issue where Satan turns out to be Mephisto?--Movieman34 (talk) 21:15, 21 January 2021 (UTC)

Mephisto was retconned into being the Satan who bonded Jonny Blaze with Zarathos in Ghost Rider (Vol. 2) #68, which is a recap of Ghost Rider's origin taken stright from Marvel Spotlight #5, and later confirmed in Ghost Rider (Vol. 2) #76. Satan's identity was later re-retconned into being Lucifer-Marduk in Ghost Rider (Vol. 6) #5, where it was also revealed that Archangel Zadkiel, rather than Satan, bonded Blaze with Spirit of Vengeance. Dog Mephisto

Just a question but are we sure that Dog Mephisto in Avengers Vol 8 55 is Mephisto of Earth-616? Having recently looking at that coming we see him go from Dog to Mephisto, but he doesn't look like 616 Mephisto. The first image is what the dog turned into from Avengers Vol 8 55, and the second is from Heroes Reborn Vol 1 1 and shows him in his dog form and what looks like 616 Mephisto standing to the bottom left.ThadMB (talk) 12:03, 21 April 2023 (UTC)

I'll be adding all the unique looking Mephisto's to the wiki soon, but I see no reason why the Dog isn't 616, as he's talking about giving Coulson 616 the cube in Heroes Return. Why would it not be? Then in #55 he looks like 616 Mephisto post transformation, within the realms of Artistic license Copeinator123 (talk)
