Is the Captain Logan from the X-Men comics different to the Jim Logan from the Wolverine Comics? It's just one is captain of a ship and the other is a detective. Also on Wikipedia, the Alternative Realities page on Wolverine says they are different people. L'Ange Noir 18:32, June 8, 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure, actually. I mean, these are obviously two separate continuities. And if they are two different people, it would explain the mishap in X-Men: Noir. I think that the Captain one is the true Logan, though. Especially since he's in X-Men: Noir. There's no way Marvel would make two separate characters with the same name and similar origins without putting them in opposing universes. If that's true, then we can assume that Wolverine: Noir is non-canon, being more of a fan-service thing. :/ --Klom99 18:52, June 12, 2011 (UTC)

I just checked the Wolverine Noir issues and apparently the detective is really called James Howlett. I think it's issue 3... But I'm not certain. It's in the preview pages at the bottom. --L'Ange Noir 15:49, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

So, if he's James Howlett, and the Wolverine in X-Men: Noir is Captain "Logan," they must be two different people, with the two names referencing the prime Wolverine's dual origins. In other words, they look the same, but are two vastly different people. Now it makes sense. --Klom99 16:01, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

How do you create a new page for them? I'd suggest the detective got a new page. But are there any Noir experts around?--L'Ange Noir 18:54, June 13, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think a new page is necessary. Being two different people doesn't stop them from being the same hero, especially in a continuity bender like this since we aren't 100% sure which is canon and which isn't. Making a seperate section on the article about them seems good enough. Two articles on Wolverine in the same universe would be redundant. --Klom99 04:30, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

Disappearance from other pages[]

Just to let those in charge know: I think this James Howlett disappeared from some of the disambig pages. Searching "James Howlett" and scrolling to Earth-90214, there's no pic and no link, just a reference. And on the Earth-90214 page, there's not even a reference to him. The only way to find this page is by typing it in directly. {{SUBST:User:Taral, Dark Lord of the Sith/sig}} 18:05, July 13, 2011 (UTC)
