Stingray's Avengers[]

Stingray was previously a member of the Avengers. Yes, he's now undercover in the Mercs for Money with Commander Steve Rogers, also a former Avenger, as his handler, but I do not believe when he says he's a "reserve Avengers member" that he's in any way talking about the Avengers Unity Division, as he's never been a member of the Unity Division, only the main Avengers team.

Furthermore, I'd note that working undercover for someone does not a member make, for example, Silk is currently undercover in Black Cat's Gang with Mockingbird as her handler, but that doesn't maker her an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., does it?

Anyway, I'm willing to hear others' opinions as to why y'all believe he would intentionally blow his cover by referencing a group he's never been a member of to the very people he's spying on. -- Annabell (talk) 05:49, April 22, 2016 (UTC)

It's worth mentioning that the Avengers were no more for a period of months, so I'm not sure if the Avengers having reassembled automatically makes previous reserve members such thing again. I think it's necessary to give such importance to Stingray's comment, which was just a comedic piece of dialogue.
