I personally found the whole arc with Scott losing custody of Cassie repulsive.
1 - The judge seemed to have made up his mind years before the case ever got to his court. He dismissed everything Scott said and accepted his ex's arguments without question.
2 - I thought from Scott's origins that Cassie's Mom was dead; when he thought he was going to jail in his origin, she wasn't even mentioned as a guardian possibility--only her relatives were.
3 - If she was alive, then she abandoned them both, but was awarded instant full custody.
4 - Since when do Marvel cops hate superheroes? No, Peggy--your hubby and his corrupt friends hate them.
5 - This is one of about 10 Marvel storylines that beg for a new future EIC to instantly retcon. Others being the Power kids ages, Jack Russell's full-grown niece, and a certain marital retcon.Gojirob 00:51, July 31, 2011 (UTC)
- There are plenty of cops that hate superheroes. You see them as often as you see cops that LIKE superheroes.
- Why would this need to be retconned? What damage has been done that can't be undone through good writing?
- And what's wrong with the Power Pack kids' ages? They're not THAT much older than they were in the old series, and that's in keeping with the growth of other kids in the Marvel Universe. Luna was born when their series was going on, and is now (seemingly) about six. Franklin's AT LEAST ten, by this point, and likely older. And why is Jack Russell having a full-grown niece a problem (never read any Werewolf by Night, with the exception of one issue, so I legitimately don't know what the problem is)?

IS IT NECESSARY to raise your voice over a simple difference of opinion? What did I say that needed to be STRUCK DOWN? I'll explain my views better when I have more time, but wow. Gojirob 03:13, August 1, 2011 (UTC)
- Who's yelling? I emphasized a couple of words. If you feel I yelled, then I apologize, but I assure you, it was merely emphasizing certain words. Yelling would have involved exclamation points. Or non-stop caps. Occasional capitalized word is emphasis.
