History

After defeating the current Black Panther and gaining an herb linking him to Bast the Panther-God, T'Challa gained superhuman powers as he became the new "Black Panther". As King of Wakanda, T'Challa splits his time between ruling his country and defending the world alongside the Avengers and other allied heroes.[2]

Visiting New York[]

Whilst visiting New York, T'Challa's Milk was stolen by Raft prisoners as part of a thinly concealed plan to trap him. T'Challa went to their location regardless, as he was easily able to take them out with some outside help.

Upon Roxxon creating a device to mine a Wakandan island of its resources, T'Challa enlisted outside help to disable it.

Pursuing a gang of local crooks with his pet, Mr. Tiddles the two got separated. T'Challa called on passerbys to help find him. Eventually, two people were able to find him after going on an adventure of their own with Mr. Tiddles, bringing him back to T'Challa afterwards.[3]

Invasion in Wakanda[]

When the Klaw, T'Chaka's assassins, invaded Wakanda, T'Challa and Shuri together stood up to him to protect their people. Arriving at the council chamber, the two came across the Black Knight, who was helping the Klaw. Shuri and T'Challa managed to knock him out and follow to the Klaw, which in a final confrontation against T'Challa, had its mechanical frame ripped out. With the terrorist defeated, Wakanda could be at peace.[1]

Kang's Invasion[]

When brought Chronopolis together with Wakanda, T'Challa allied with Spider-Man, She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel to pursue the Klaw. In the midst of the chase, Man-Ape appeared and interrupted the heroes, and T'Challa knew of his presence by smell. After defeating the Man-Ape, T'Challa, Spider-Man and Ms. Marvel followed the Klaw to a portal leading to the Hydra Empire. There, the three met up with Captain America, Star-Lord and Doctor Strange. After Peter discovered that the Klaw was on one of Hydra's ships giving vibranium to a soldier, Steven ordered him, T'Challa and Star-Lord to follow to the ship while the rest returned to Avengers Mansion. On the ship, the three fought several Hydra soldiers sent by Arnim Zola and finally fought the Klaw and defeated him, but some Vibranium soldiers appeared and took the Klaw away. T'Challa followed the Klaw and had a final showdown against him and managed to defeat him, taking the villain into custody in Wakanda.[2]

Saving Ross[]

Upon learning that Everett Ross had been kidnapped by Killmonger in Niganda, T'Challa decides to use a drill to get there and save his friend. The drill was stored in a hidden place in Wakanda, where it was messed up by Killmonger's henchmen. T'Challa and Shuri had to go through several platforms to redirect energy to open a passage and get the Drill. After getting her, the two manage to get to Niganda and save Ross.[2]
