Susan and the five other rogue personalities

Following the Fortress X time, where Legion's personas all had a body for themselves, the return to "normal" reality left free six of those sub-personalities outside David's body.[1]

He and the X-Men became aware of the six only after he tries to use Time-Sink's powers, and is unsuccessful. His Delphic divination powers reveal the rebellion of six personalities:Time-Sink, Chain, Susan in Sunshine, Bleeding Image, Styx and Endgame.[1]

Susan absorbed by Legion

The personalities all traveled to Europe and separate, with Chain and Susan going to London.[2] The X-Men Frenzy and Gambit confronted Susan. When Frenzy tore apart her doll, her powers disappeared due to her sadness and she stopped battling. When confronted by David, she happily accepted a merge back into his mind.[3]

When walking through David's mind searching for Rogue in there, Charles Xavier saw Susan, seemingly playing peaceful in her cell with a new or fixed doll.[4]

Powers

Empathy: Susan's power in Legion's mindscape is the ability to sense, augment and manipulate the emotions of others around her, feeding off of and metabolizing it to fuel her abilities.

  • Emotion Manipulation: Susan is able to manipulate emotions, generating attraction or discord between the X-Men.
    • Emotional Energy Conversion: She was stated to be able to convert the ambient emotion into raw energy.
      • Explosion Generation: Susan was able to generate powerful bursts of raw energy, but yet she was unable to hurt Frenzy.[3]
      • Concussive Blast: She can also direct said converted energy into a destructive energy wave of perpetual force, these blasts are potent enough to shatter the cement construction of a parking ramp.

Psi-shield: Bleeding Image and the five other subpersonalities are somehow protected from psi-scanning, and even the Omega-level Telepath Charles Xavier was unable to perform a psi-contact on an unconscious Time-Sink. It was stated that this shielding was coming from their specific nature, as they weren't "living beings in the conventional sense".[2]

Weaknesses

Sadness: Susan's powers dissipate when she's unhappy.[3]
