History
Captain America was one of the many heroes who helped take control of America after Doctor Doom took control of the Eastern Block. They grew increasingly paranoid about spies from the Eastern Alliance and made anyone that looked funny disappear completely. This effectively turned America into a fascist state. After Alpha Flight of the Prime Universe arrived they captured and interrogated the group with plans of making them disappear too. Alpha Flight fought the Avengers and managed to knock out Captain America and escape. They returned to fight them when Alpha Flight were fighting other heroes in the street. Captain America was "killed" by Diamond Lil when it was discovered they were in Dreamqueen's Liveworld and that Alpha Flight could shape the world to their will.[1]
