Plot

After a robot attack leaves his students injured, Spider-Man sets out to find who's responsible. His instincts leading him to J. Jonah Jameson, he pursues a very open campaign against the publisher that leads to him being alienated from everyone he trusts, little realizing who his true foe is.

Notes

  • According to the "Historian's Note," this story takes place after Mary Jane began her theatrical career but before Spider-Man joined the New Avengers. It also takes place before the transformation Spider-Man underwent in The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol 2 #15-20.
