History
The Lance of Pelias was a given to Peleus by the centaur Kheiron in celebration of Peleus' marriage to Thetis. The Lance was passed down to Peleus' son Achilles, who notably used it against Telephus.[3] For some reason, the blade became encrusted with Achilles' blood.[2]
Achilles' son Neoptolemus would later inherit it and used it against Telephus' son Eurypylus.[1]
Eventually, Alexander the Great acquired it. Upon Alexander's death, Lord Mormo of the Order of the Hydra stole it.[2]
