Synopsis for "Love Stings"

The Fixer breaks himself and Yellowjacket out of prison. They go back to the Fixer's base to lay low for a while, however their partnership comes to a quick end when Fixer confesses his romantic feelings, which Yellowjacket does not reciprocate. A short time later, Yellowjacket stakes out the Wasp's home, in order to get revenge on her for their previous encounter. When Yellowjacket sees Dane Whitman pickup Wasp for a date, she becomes enamored with him. An hour later, Whitman laments how he blew his date with Wasp in a manner of two minutes while Yellowjacket secretly watches and pines over him from a distance. Just then, a vengeful Fixer finds Yellowjacket. He quickly sees that Yellowjacket has feelings for Whitman, and blasts him repeatedly with an energy ray, believing that he has killed him. Fixer battles Yellowjacket throughout New York City and, proving that she might have a hero within in, Yellowjacket saves a young girl from becoming collateral damage. However, her moment of heroism allows Fixer to catch her unawares. Whitman, who survived Fixer's attack, picks up the Ebon Blade and uses it to deflect a new assault from Fixer. He and Yellowjacket then team up to defeat the villain and when Whitman remarks that he'd be interested in grabbing a drink with her, Yellowjacket impulsively kisses him before flying away.
