Synopsis for "Puzzle Planet!"Edit

Power Pack arrives at the planetoid first, and sets out to find the second half of the prophecys before Kh’oja arrives. Friday warns them that the prophecy is the source of a violent fight between two warring sects on Patchworld; one that wants to preserve Eternity’s Children and one that wants to destroy them.

The way to the Prophecy is blocked by several puzzles. Power Pack solves the first one, but finds themselves under attack by Kh’oja when trying to figure out the second one. Alex is able to knock out Kh’oja and Power Pack proceeds. Power Pack also solves the third riddle and the door to the last room opens. Kh’oja fights himself a way past Power Pack and enters the room first, which contains the skeletal remains of several alien graverobbers who tried to steal the prophecy first, and multiple stone boxes. One skeleton is holding a box. Kh’oja takes it, but the box proves to be empty. He tries another box, which is also empty. While Kh’oja continues in vain to open the various boxes, Power Pack notices the room is being sealed again and quickly escapes.

With Kh’oja now imprisoned, Power Pack returns to Friday, only to be confronted by their Skrull imposters. Paibok has placed inhibitor colars on the other 3 skrulls to make them his servants, and they attack Power Pack with Cocoon cannons stolen from S.W.O.R.D.. Fortunately for Power Pack, Abercombie and Finch also show up on the planetoid, having been tasked with recapturing Power Pack. Thinking the skrulls are the real Power Pack, the bounty hunters capture them and take them back to the reform planet.

Friday removes the cocoons from Power Pack and the group leaves the planetoid. Franklin reveals he realized that not the boxes, but the puzzles contained the real prophecy. Each of the 3 puzzles revealed some information about Eternity’s children, if you interpret them correctly. Putting all the information together, Power Pack realizes that the Prophecy reveals Earth to be the homeplanet of Eternity’s Children. The story ends with Power Pack wondering if perhaps they themselves are the children of the prophecy.
