History
Skel is one of the individuals experimented on by Weapon X Program Director Dr. Abraham Cornelius, along with Shogun, Endo, Junk, and Neuro in order to make a better soldier than his previous creations like Wolverine. Skel was taken into custody until another subject calling himself Sharp set him free.
Skel joined Sharp along with the other test subjects as they fought their way through the compound. Upon reaching the roof, they encountered the villain Slayback but for some reason Sharp had the knowledge of who he was, which resulted in Slayback's death. Skel left on a helicopter with Sharp and the others.[1]
Wolverines[]
After successfully finding and kidnapping Mystique, Daken, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike and X-23, and threatened them with the “control words” (that manipulate, sedate or even kill each of them), Skel allied himself with Shogun and the others to find the adamantium-petrified body of Wolverine in the burnt-down Paradise facility.
That's when they encountered and fought the Wrecking Crew, hired by Mister Sinister, who were looking for the same. When X-23 and Daken found the body, Mr. Sinister appeared, took Wolverine's body, plus an eye and arm from Daken, and left. Apparently, Daken lost his healing factor.[2]Attributes
