History
Scud was recruited by Blade as a technician in the absence of Whistler. Blade saved Scud from being killed by two vampires. Scud helped in the attack on the Reapers, but was attacked in the van and barely survived thanks to the UV lights. Blade, Scud and Whistler were captured by Damaskinos's men after the Reapers were wiped out, and it was revealed the vampires merely wished to dispose of the dangerous "failures" the Reapers were and afterwards use Blade to make a new race of vampires immune to sunlight.
Reinhardt, Blood Pack leader, had an explosive device made by Scud that Blade amusingly stuck to the back of his head earlier, as insurance against the inevitable betrayal. When Blade attempted to detonate it, it didn't go off. Scud then began to laugh and said it was never supposed to explode. It was merely a dud.
Reinhart removed the explosive and tossed it to Scud, who then revealed to Blade that he was one of Damaskinos's familiars who had been spying on Blade from the start. He then went into a rant that gave Blade a moment to recover. When Scud finally finished, Blade had two things to say to him...
"One, I've been on to you ever since they turned you. And two... it's not a dud." Blade explains, brandishing the remote that detonates the bomb and promptly activating it. Scud barely has a chance to respond before his bomb explodes, spraying his entrails all over the room.[2]Attributes

- Scud was portrayed by Norman Reedus in the movie Blade II. More than a decade later, Reedus would lend his voice to the Punisher in the straight-to-DVD movie Iron Man: Rise of Technovore.
