Overview[]

Roswell is a city in New Mexico. It is the county seat of Chaves County in the southeastern quarter of the state of New Mexico, United States of America.

Roswell UFO Incident[]

The Roswell UFO incident refers to an event in mid-1947, when a United States Air Force surveillance balloon crashed at a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico, prompting claims alleging the crash was of an extraterrestrial spaceship. It is believed that the shipped contained the Greys and was taken to a secret military base called Area 51 in Nevada.

The Prime Skrull was the last of its kind and fled to the planet Earth to escape extinction. It was part of the infamous Roswell crash in 1947 along with a deviant Skrull.[1]

Kyle Grobe traveled back in time to Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 to change the timeline. Two policemen are called out to Carlos Juarez's farmhouse by his concerned family out East. They discover the basement lights are on and find Kyle amongst an array of equipment with Carlos' remains at his feet. The cops decide to take him, but Kyle rapidly ages them to bones before they can. Advent returns to his equipment where he receives a message from himself from the future warning him about the New Warriors.[2]

In 1947, Velmax and his commanding officer Zuhn were sent on an observation mission to Earth, for the purposes of conquest and annexing the planet into the Skrull empire. Why observing the Earth over the American Southwest, they were detected by an American Airforce jet. The incursion damaged their ship and they crashed in Roswell, New Mexico. Recovering the from the crash, Velmax and Zuhn were discovered by discharged soldier Jacob Scott, who shot Zuhn and then tried to flee, ending in a fatal car crash. Velmax decided to continue his mission by co-opting Scott's identity. He then placed Zuhn in a Med Pod before military officials arrived. Posing as Scott, Velmax used a cover story to avoid incarceration and continued his mission. Using Scott's position Velmax entered into politics and rising high into the ranks of the United States government over the years eventually securing a position State Department. Velmax then used his position to try and relocate his ship and the med-pod that contained Zuhn so he could try and find a way back home. However over the years, Velmax began to love American culture and rethink his position on Skrull conquest of the Earth[3].

Modern Era[]

Carter Ryking was imprisoned at Roswell Maximum Security Prison.[4]

Tony Stark took the Avengers a military base in Roswell, New Mexico which he wrongly refers to it as Area 51. He used the base to hide the Reality Gem.[5]

Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth-199999)[]

After the Thor incident in Puente Antiguo the Destroyer armor was taken by S.H.I.E.L.D. and moved to a secret base in Roswell, New Mexico.[6]

Marvel Age (Earth-50302)[]

Bruce Banner still on the run from the US Army. In the New Mexico Desert he spots a strange craft in the sky. The next day he heads into the near town of Roswell. He soon learned that the Skrulls were invading by infiltrating the town they took the form of the locals. However, when Bruce is saved by a local girl it is revealed that she is a Skrull herself and her parents crashed her 20 years ago. They tried to capture Bruce but he became the Hulk and destroyed their portal stopping the invasion. The girl and her parents decide to stay one Earth and live the rest of their lives as humans. [7]
