History
Similarly to Earth-616, Captain Marvel confronted Nitro; however, unlike Earth-616, where Captain Marvel had bonded with Rick Jones, this Captain Marvel was bound to Carol Danvers. During the confrontation with Nitro, Carol used the Nega-Bands to swap places with Captain Marvel, saving him, but ultimately causing her to contract cancer instead.[1]
