History

Early Life[]

Much of Iceman's early history mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart.

When humanity was mutated, Bobby was among the many heroes trying to help people in a world gripped by chaos and anarchy. Together with fellow former X-Man Angel, he began delivering groceries to those who were not powerful enough to safely leave their homes. [2]

At some point, Bobby lost the ability to transform into his human form, and was forced to go North, as he could not stay in warmer climates without melting. He constructed a wonderland at the top of the world, where he came to reside mostly by himself. [3] [1]

Universe X[]

When Galactus destroyed the Celestial Embryo growing in Earth's core, the planet began to suffer catastrophic environmental changes. [4]

With the temperature in New York dropping to freezing-arctic temperatures, Bobby would return to New York and be reunited with his former X-Men teammate, Angel. The two heroes would aid the law in protecting the Human Torch in New York which would be under constant attack by followers of the Church of Immortus who were against the burning of Terrigen Mists out of Earth's atmosphere. [5]

Bobby's powers would prove to be much needed, allowing the law to protect the Torch under a wall of ice. While the ice was eventually breached, and New York was nearly destroyed by the resurrected Absorbing Man, Loki and Iron Maiden managed to convince Creel to transform into Vibranium. Using her powers, Iron Maiden distributed Creel throughout the planet's core, undoing the damage caused by the removal of the Celestial embryo. [6]

With the planet's axis restored to normal, it's presumable that Iceman returned to the northern regions of the planet. However he would be in attendance during the wedding of Medusa and King Britain, which served as an impromptu reunion of the X-Men. [7]

Attributes

Powers

Bobby powers are the same as his Earth-616 counterpart, however at this time Bobby is no longer able to resume his human form, and lives out his days in his ice form. This puts him at risk of melting in warmer climates.
