The Roaring Island was the creation of the "Tribe". whose members drove around in vehicles, cruising independently. After dark, their vehicles would link up forming the Roaring Island juggernaut. The ones who linked up with the main vehicle were called Outriders. The Roaring Island had several cannon, dual-barrel machine gun, a multiple rocket launcher, and several turrets.
They were led by Straker who was both a drug addict and insane. He quoted the Bible, and believed that as society became more warlike mobile villages like Roaring Island were the future. They had access to an ultra-tech motorcycle, which Staker designed himself. Equipped with gas turbine engines, gryo, and stealth hardware. The Roaring Island negotiated traffic and link-ups using technology called fuzzy logic.[1]
