History
After arriving on Earth-8910, a tsunami hit the shore and Phoenix placed herself and the rest of Excalibur into stasis cocoons. After the Avengers took Rachel's cocoon, they sent Rick to bring the rest. Excalibur broke free from their cocoons before Rick could move them, and he agreed to take them to help retrieve their missing friend. The group traveled to New York and met Captain America, to which Rick Jones chased after him wanting to be his partner again.
Rick Jones was revealed to a be a creation of Impossible Man alongside the entire Earth and was destroyed by Galactus but may have been recreated when the Impossible Man recreated the Earth.[1]
