History

The Reavers are human gladiators who have undergone surgery to become cyborgs for the specific purpose of hunting down mutants on live television on the island of Krakoa. However, after the X-Men and Spider-Man (as a bonus by Deadpool) as part of their "show", the Reavers are ultimately defeated/killed by the heroes. Combined with their defeat and the loss of their leader, Deadpool, the television show they worked for was canceled.
