Synopsis for "Sticks and Stones Will Break Your Bones, But Spears Can Kill You!"

After a night out for dinner with Luke Cage and Claire Temple, Noah Burstein is attacked by costumed criminal known as Spear. This leads the Speak into a lengthy battle against Luke Cage, a battle which ends in a draw when the Spear flees the battle.

When both Detective Chase and Luke question Noah about the incident, Noah claims to know nothing. However, when Noah gets home the Spear tracks him and sends him a message, confirming to Noah his worst fears. Meanwhile, Luke returns to the Gem where he spends some time with D.W., his girlfriend Winifred and battles with the ever troublesome soda machine.

The next day, Luke attends the funeral for young Auggie Simmons and consoles the family, and elsewhere Charlton Grundge and his lawyer Grassy Moss begin to plan a way to ruin Luke Cage for his past aggressions towards Grundge. That night as Noah and Claire close up the clinic for the night, and Noah see's Claire off, Noah is confronted once more by the Spear who has come to collect his final revenge against the man he blames for doing so much wrong in his life.
