History
The Power Core was the object which empowered the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier; when the Helicarrier was destroyed,[3] S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury led an expedition in New Mexico where he found the Power Core intact. It was later stolen by Hydra by using an A.I.M. Ship.[1]
