History
Phillip Chambers was a genetic scientist, formerly employed by Canada's Department K, and may have been one of the people who experimented on Sabretooth, Wolverine, and Silver Fox.
At some point, he left government work and switched to the private sector, being employed by Roxxon to produce animal/human hybrids. Using his own brother, Mitchell Chambers, as a test subject, he was able to successfully create a hybrid of human and animal traits – though the result lacked any human intelligence or identity. Needing more test subjects and genetic samples to continue his research, Dr. Chambers sent his now animalistic brother to gather the required materials.
This brought his work to the attention of Spider-Man, the Punisher, and Sabretooth himself, with the latter recognizing his work as similar to the experiments that had been performed on him in the past. When the three of them broke into his lab, Phillip unleashed his brother against them while he made his escape. While he was able to delay Spider-Man and the Punisher, he was unable to elude Sabertooth, who killed the scientist.[1]See Also
