History

Peter Quill, a former astronaut who was the son of Meredith Quill, an Earth woman, and Jason, emperor of the Spartoi (an alien humanoid civilization) and the first Starlord.

Formerly as Starlord, Quill possesses augmented strength and resiliency and controls an "element gun", a pistol capable of conjuring one of the four elements. He is also psionically linked to his starship, which is a living entity.
