History
This version of Peter Parker lost his Aunt May, not his Uncle Ben, to the murderous Burglar that entered their home. While Ben was once not as close to Peter, he figured out his secret identity as Spider-Man and helped him to put aside his guilt over May's death. In order to stop J. Jonah Jameson's crusade against Spider-Man, Ben had Peter enter into a deal with the publisher that ultimately caused friction among them. Reconciling later on, this Peter was guided by his uncle to be a more confident Spider-Man.
