Synopsis for "The Vulture Is a Bird of Prey"Edit

Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol 1 4 001
When the Vulture tries roughs up one of mobster Mr. Morgan's men for trying to rob him, the villain becomes the target of the mobster. As Peter Parker, struggles with his classes, and tries to speak to Sha Shan for Flash, Morgan tries to get revenge against the Vulture and is humiliated each time.

With his powers improved and increased, the Vulture begins grabbing people and holding them hostage on the top of a building in hopes of attracting Spider-Man, so that he can get revenge against the wall-crawler. Stumbling upon the situation, Peter changes into Spider-Man to fight his old foe. As the Vulture and Spider-Man duke it out, Morgan hires the Hitman, a gun toting assassin-for-hire.

As their fight takes them into a building, the Vulture manages to get an upper hand on Spider-Man with a building in defense device that keeps anyone from removing his flying device. However, before he can finish off his foe, the Hitman arrives to kill Spider-Man and ruin the Vulture's sought after revenge.
