History
Otto Mink was a smuggler active in the first half of the 20th Century. Howard Stark used Mink's services to smuggle himself back into New York City after he fled the country when he was accused of selling weapons to enemies of the United States. However, Mink's henchmen tried to extort more money out of Stark's associates Peggy Carter and Edwin Jarvis. This led to a fight breaking out, where Carter not only beat Mink's men but also recovered Stark without giving over any money. Otto Mink was furious at his henchmen's failure, and executed them with his unique automatic pistol. Mink, determined to get teach a lesson to Stark's associates, infiltrated the Griffith Hotel to kill Peggy Carter. The boarding house's supervisor, Miriam Fry, refused to let Mink past the first floor to Carter's room in compliance with the Griffiths' policies, so he snuck up to her floor by crawling through the building's air vents. Before he could break into Peggy's room, he was confronted by her neighbor Dottie Underwood, who showed a bizarre fascination with Mink's gun. Dottie, who was secretly one of Leviathan's assassins, killed Mink by breaking his neck to get possession of the gun. She dragged Mink's corpse back to her room, and hid it under her bed.[1]
