The Official Index to the Marvel Universe', are a series of comics and trade paperbacks that catalog Marvel Comic books. Each volume lists issue synopses, characters who appear in each issue. Expanded versions also identify characters previous and next publication and chronological appearances, as well as notations on important facts, later plot developments and other noteworthy information. The Index's are supplementary to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe.
