Noriko Sato is one of the 13 individuals S.H.I.E.L.D. once suspected of having psychic abilities, but was ultimate rejected from being put on the gifted individuals index. Agents John Garrett and Phil Coulson were sent to investigate Sato on suspicion of being the true identity of the Clairvoyant, the leader of Project Centipede, but S.H.I.E.L.D. soon closed in on Thomas Nash as their prime suspect.[1]
