Nick Fury presumably shared a similar history to his Prime Universe counterpart until Captain America was not recovered from the ice. This meant Captain America was unable to stop the Nazi Sleeper robots. After the Red Skull and the Nazi's conquered America, Fury lead the X-Patriots and greeted Captain America when he was brought back to their headquarters. He joined the final battle against the Skull.[1]
