News talk:New Captain America Unveiled
From Marvel Database
a G-U-N....A GUUNNN?!???
This is a joke, right?
For me Cap was always about highest moral...you know? The Cap's always right and heroic in what he does. Being allowed to carry a gun...I always thought it was some basic-american-freedoms thing for Steve Rogers. Some sickos like deadpool and punisher are cool with guns...I like them both, but the CAP! He's the CAP - the greatest hero of them all, not because of his powers, but because of his ethic values and epic character!
...*head shaking*...a gun....what where you right-wing-nra writers smoking?!??

New Cap Costume Design
Does anyone else notice that the new design Ross came up with for Cap is remarkably similar to the design he did for the first Spider-Man movie? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Samspectrum (talk • contribs).
design seems more practical
i think the design is very logical. i mean come on, captain america is a soldier at least the steve rogers incarnation. so it makes sense for this captain america to carry a knife and gun if he is in fact a soldier as well or an agent of s.h.i.e.l.d. i for one am for this and enjoyed the characterization of rogers in the ultimates as he was portrayed as a soldier who still has his high moral stance as well as being a superhero. he was soldier first, superhero second. - Maybe more practical, maybe more statistically probable, still against Caps' ethics.
- I think the whole reason for not carrying a gun was the morality of not killing... Am I wrong?
- Let's just assume he has REALLY good aim with his gun and can shoot bad guys in the foot without killing them. :)
