History
Slab initially attacked Strong Guy, mentioning that he was part of a group of "nasty boys."
X-Factor then battled the team. Multiple Man was able to subdue his dupe. Sinister posed as Ricochet (Steven Shaffran) and unveiled his plan to kill the Scarlet Witch. Shraffan is angered and attempts to kill Sinister, only to be killed himself.
Ramrod is deported but returns illegally. Slab works for the MLF alongside his sister Thumbelina.
The team is regrouped by Sinister. They hunt Malice (Marauders) who was seeking to kill Polaris so they could not re-merge. They left after Malice was apparently destroyed by Polaris and Havok.
Ruckus was apprehended during an attempted attack on Senator Kelly. The whereabouts of the others are unknown.

Appearances in other media
While the Nasty Boys are a barely passing blip in the extensive history of the X-Men comics, the villainous team was featured several times in FOX's 1992 X-Men animated series. Appearing first in the episode "'Til Death Do Us Part, Part II", the cartoon featured four of the Boys: Ruckus, Gorgeous George, Hairbag, and Slab (Ramrod never appeared in the series). Vertigo was the fifth member. A reluctant member of the Nasty Boys was Morph who had been resurrected by Sinister, and given an "evil" personality. "Evil" Morph was often a part-time member of the Nasty Boys, but Sinister increasingly lost control of him.
The Nasty Boys reappeared in both parts of "Reunion" where, teamed with the Savage Land Mutates, they proved to be quite imposing to the X-Men whom Sinister had rendered powerless. The X-Men eventually regained their powers, freed Morph from Sinister completely, and defeated Sinister and the Boys. After leaving the Savage Land, the Nasty Boys reappeared with Sinister in all four parts of "Beyond Good and Evil".
Vertigo appears in the X-Men Animated series as a member of the Nasty Boys. Sinister had given Vertigo a Magneto-inspired energy boost in "Reunion" and she became a member of the Nasty Boys.
